The Security Department of E.U.C. “Parques de Sotogrande” inscribed in the National Register of Private Security with no. 921 is supervised by a Director of Security. This department is working in coordination with the State Security Forces (F.C.S.E.) and Prosegur, as the security company contracted to ensure the protection of persons, property and the normal functioning of the services in the urbanization.

These are their main features:

• Collaboration with the F.C.S.E. for its requirement in the development of its activity.
• Permanent security post PPS, responsible for coordinating the various technical and human resources for the urbanization for attention to incidents and their communication to the FCSE in situations that require it.
• Physical monitoring in the four posts of permanent access to the urbanization.
• Making security rounds with patrol vehicles around roads and green areas, with specific actions for the prevention of criminal acts and supervision for the normal functioning of services.
• Identification of possible abandoned houses, performing regular monitoring of its external condition and possible incidents by lack of maintenance.
• Attention and 24 hours resident help via phones present in the security control posts.
• Making sure the various security systems dependant on the EUC function properly.
• Daily reports of specific services and registered incidents.
